Application concept • sector-specific integration
The completed model and reported TRL 5 relate to the underlying T-wire technology. This does not mean that every application described has been tested. Sector-specific integration is a further development step.
Cranes and conveyors
A collector trolley travels along the supply line and powers the machine. This configuration may reduce the movement of long cable lengths and the need for cable reels.
Large-format welding
Potential uses include welding machines moving along large structures. Integration requires a power supply design matched to the duty cycle, loads and interference associated with the process.
Lighting large facilities
Movable or repositionable lights could share a supply line, allowing lighting positions to change without installing new cable bundles each time.
What the pilot should verify
Electrical load, duty cycle, dust exposure, route geometry and machine control integration.
Scope, target parameters and acceptance criteria are agreed for a specific installation before testing.
