Application concept • sector-specific integration
The completed model and reported TRL 5 relate to the underlying T-wire technology. This does not mean that every application described has been tested. Sector-specific integration is a further development step.
Observation along a route
Potential settings include borders, forests, orchards, plantations, halls and rail sidings. Trolley payloads may include visual and thermal imaging cameras, searchlights, speakers and microphones.
Surveillance system integration
We envisage integration with motion sensors and object-following functions. Power, data transmission and control logic require separate design; the power cable alone does not determine how video is transmitted.
A shared route for different devices
The proposed passing section opens up the possibility of trolleys passing one another, for example a camera station and a drone power point. Further work includes traffic control and verification of this configuration.
What the pilot should verify
Observation area, payload mass, data transmission, weather conditions and access to the route.
Scope, target parameters and acceptance criteria are agreed for a specific installation before testing.
