The completed model and reported TRL 5 relate to the underlying T-wire technology. This does not mean that every application described has been tested. Sector-specific integration is a further development step.
Open-pit mines
Potential development includes mobile extraction equipment, stackers and material transport. The arrangement may reduce the need to drag long cables behind machinery.
Underground applications
Concepts include rail transport, mining machines and drilling equipment. Underground conditions require separate assessment, especially atmospheric hazards, moisture, dust and mechanical damage.
From configuration to testing
Design starts with a specific machine and operating environment. A general model does not establish readiness for all mining conditions.
What the pilot should verify
Required power, dynamic loads, operating environment, mechanical durability and maintenance arrangements.
Scope, target parameters and acceptance criteria are agreed for a specific installation before testing.
